Services Coaching for women About Jill

TimeFinders Magazine TimeFinders Personal and Business Coaching
Jill B Crossland Coaching Even here in Alberta it is starting to get warmer and I am actually seeing some green on my lawn. Long weekends are back with Victoria Day in Canada and Memorial Day in the US. For many women that also means we can hand over the oven gloves to our partners as it is time to bring out the barbeque.

Mother’s Day is on May 11 and I know that many of you are moms (and yes, doggy mom counts) so while I cannot give you each a gift, I would like you to STOP for ten minutes, make a cup of tea and sit back. Give yourself a break in the day; believe me you are not going to miss out on anything earth shaking. Sit back and think about the good things in your life, your kids, your growing business, good health, a partner who has always been there – no serious or negative thoughts allowed.

Sometimes it only takes a short break or a small gesture to make us feel good, so why not pass it on. Do you have someone who would benefit from a gesture from you? It can be as simple as an email, a short note on a card or making some time for them.

Here are some other gift ideas for a special woman in your life:

MUSIC

  • Joy Foster’s CD ‘I Mother Earth’
  • Go to Joy Foster Music to hear some of her beautiful & inspirational songs
  • To order contact Joy Foster - Email: Kimberlite@rogers.ca Phone: 1.705.435.5908

BOOKS

SOMETHING DIFFERENTJill Crossland's mothers day gifts

  • Buy or adopt a gift from the World Wildlife Fund’s Panda Store
  • Luxury Chocolate Truffles from Vosges
  • Zhena’s Gypsy Tea (100% fair trade)

Chocolate, tea, music and a good book sounds like the perfect gift combination to me.
